This writing style is really throwing me off. It's just not good.
I hate Leo's POV. It's first person, but he talks like the reader is Delilah. Like he's writing in his diary and it's only meant for her to read.
Instead of "I found Delilah asleep on the floor of the basement." It's "I found you asleep on the floor."

But I also don't really like Meredith or Kate either. They're giving me iffy & icky vibes.

So Kate & Bea think the Dr. intends them harm just because he's misogynistic, insensitive & doesn't like doulas? & cause he's being sued for malpractice? Sure, some people that high up in the job industry do get defensive & aggressive when it comes to potentially losing their job, but Kate & Bea have done nothing to instigate this.. all because Kate mentioned Meredith as a doula after she went missing?
