On Seas of Blood and Salt by Richard Dansky: A pirate rabbi, a chase, some very gory cargo. Nice way to kick off this collection!
The Last Plague by KD Casey: Beautifully written, and draws on real fears of real life horrors and the threat of them repeating. My chest hurt reading this.

Some very cool stories so far! One or two I'm not that keen on as well, but I'd consider it overall a pretty strong collection!
