We have finally gotten to meet some of the campers. Including our one on one kid Clyde. So far it has taken Jarrett a little bit to get him to warm up. But the adventure on the paddle boat has seen to do the trick. Making him laugh by Jarrett falling in. I love the family that Jarrett sits with at the dining hall and that Eric kid is adorable.

NOOOO ERIC DIED!!! That’s so sucky. I was hopping he got better and I had a bad feeling when the cancer came back but I was still holding out hope. Ohh and this story is nonfiction. That makes it hurt more!!!! That poor family.

Ughhh the relationship now that has been built between Jarrett and Diego warms my heart. I also love the relationship between Jarrett and Eric’s family. Him being there for Jason at the campout so he didn’t get worried about leaving his mom alone is sweet. I have a feeling we will see the relationship between Jarrett and Eric’s family outside the camp setting.

I am LOVING the art in this book. I know there technically is a first one but frankly I looked at the description and wasn’t as interested as I was in this one. I love that Jarrett’s assignment was a one on one since that is my job as well. I feel like I will be able to relate to some aspects of this. I am looking forward to seeing how this story goes.
