I loved The Woman in White. How do you feel about this one?

Not speaking for Elizabeth but I'll butt in and say we are having a really good time with this one. I haven't read The Woman in White yet but I loved The Moonstone.

Every time I put off Wilkie, I wonder why because he's been a good time so far for me.

Great question, Annie! I agree with Penny! It has been such a fun one. The plot is simpler than TWIW but still super engaging. The mystery is great and the villain is super creepy.

Speaking for myself, I'll say that it doesn't have the depth that his bigger novels have, but it is very well-plotted and fast-paced.
