She wants a second chance.
Ex forgives her and says they can try being friends.
She decides she's going to star in a film with her ex where they are lesbian lovers.

What's the rest of the 427 pages going to be about? Aren't we done here?

Pg 11:

"She plucked a pinot noir from a vineyard in the Pacific Northwest that she and Cassie had found on a girls’ trip after her breakup from the rack [...]"

Oh my God. Ouch. Painful, painful sentence structure. Run on, much? The last 3 words are superfluous. Ugh. Just, no.

"She squeezed her eyes shut as she breathed in the painfully familiar scent of Grace’s subtle perfume and high-end hair products [...]"

Really? Is that really necessary? Ugh.
