i'm just so pissed because in what world does an american, a third generation korean-american at that in the 2020s a) worry about traveling to south korea because they think it's dangerous b) have never had kimchi and also have no emotions about their detachment to their heritage c) identify as purely american to the point where they feel a welcoming relief upon seeing the american flag/hearing english during (cont.)

kinda hate this so far but i'm gonna finish it so my criticism is true and valid. also korean audiobooks are so interesting they're definitely very korean... like polished and extra? i think like amtrak vs KAL is the only way i can describe it lol
