The rest of the book is about the movies he inspired, which is good, because I was curious what parts were Hollywood and which were based on Gein there too.

I've finished with Ed's part of the book now; yes, the series was incredibly accurate. The entire case is mind fucking blowing. Mind blowing enough to inspire THREE totally separate - and all incredibly iconic - horror movies. Which is crazy because those movies are so different from one another that you would never guess they all came from one guy's REAL life.
