Hmm. I like Kemmerer’s plots, but one reason I haven’t read more of her works is because she writes mostly YA. This book is supposed to be her “debut adult novel”, and the FMC is a virgin. Which, not to say that adults can’t or shouldn’t be virgins, but when I pick up a book labeled “adult”, it’s because I want a story about someone w/ adult experiences. This woman has been kissed once in her life.
