Yeh… I’ve given up. I started writing down thoughts and had nothing good to say after the premise, it says enough.

How am I meant to believe Gavriel’s skills as one of the best assassins if in almost 300 pages I mostly saw him get tricked or captured? If I could at least see some interesting personality… 😕

It’s a pretty long book, 🤞🏻 I’ll be into it or it’s gonna be a tough read.
