The use of words is mesmerising and beautiful. Nafisi makes you want to read all the books she refers to-even the ones I’ve already read and didn’t like before

I find the plot a bit difficult, but the author's view on Nabokov is fascinating. Her view of what's happening around her is also fascinating, even in its darkest moments.
