Past part 1 a little bit. So much happens in this book but I’m anxious to see where it goes!

Tower of Dawn finished. I can honestly say I loved this book, it’s probably my favorite of them all so far which is really surprising. Must be the large amount of hope at the end, and from what I understand that will all be destroyed in the next book. I loved the characters and their love stories sincerely, and love that healing is a key element in this series!!

Part 1 of Tower of Dawn finished. I love the slower pace of this book so far, I’m loving Yrene and Chaol but specifically Yrene I’m very glad she’s back. Also love Nesryn getting a plot, I hope her prince ends up being a good guy! Don’t trust this shit sadly. Interesting aspect of healing magic too!

Empire of Storms, wow what a book. At least we have a solid idea about how this may, or is destined to, end. It’s so good how she’s tied up a lot of loose ends that have been floating around, except one- Chaol, which we now get and I’m stressing. Very adorable that Rowan and her are married but not adorable she got captured.

Part 1 of Empire of Storms, fire-bringer, is done. LOTS of lore changing things that I can’t even remember which happened in this part or another. All I know is her lineage is now reviled and shit is about to go down power wise. Oh also they finally fucked.

Queen of Shadows finished. This was also a great book! A lot of events happened so quickly, it will take time to process but it’s crazy the king is dead and things are really getting serious. All our besties are in positions of power, and Chaol is paralyzed! Things will really kick off.

Okay so, the king is dead, perrington is a demon king, Aelin and Dorian are extremely powerful when together and now I guess they have to figure out how to go from here. Kinda crazy work? Still processing this shit

Lady of Shadowns (pt 1) is done. A lot was accomplished this part, Rowan coming back and being horny for a 19 year old, the rescue and reuniting of Aedion, the break down with a Chaol and the killing of Arobynn. Things should be either slow or epic this next part.

Heir of Fire complete. I actually loved this addition to the series. I loved the multiple perspectives, including the villain witch who might not be all bad? I loved Celeanas arch but didn’t like how Rowan was at the beginning, it’s nice how he is part of her now. It ended on an epic launching pad so it should be pretty intense going forward!

Finished part 1 of Heir of Fire, Heir of Ash. The name makes sense, as she cannot harness her fire power so its ash. I had a feeling and still do that Rowan will be… sexy time partner? I don’t know. Maas loves super mean men turned babe. Aedion I don’t know. Happy for Dorian in new found love lol
