Carly oof! I would love to hear if you'd recommend once you're done! :)

Lauren I liked it! It is not a parenting how-to book, it’s a historical look at how certain people (I.e. Dobson, but also many others) shaped so-called Christian parenting through the years and how a lot of the ideas men like him were teaching were not at all backed by child development research. Ive deconstructed evangelical parenting ideas before I ever had kids, so I didn’t feel like it shaped my parenting, but I found it very validating!
