Listen LISTEN idk how many Vasya x Morozko scenes are in this book, but the chemistry is blowing up. The yearning? The yearningggg. The something between them, the blushes betraying her, the expressions she can’t read, the being young and wanting to go vs being burdened with the wisdom of time and knowing the pain of the world but your love leads you to support the dreamer- the traveler- anyway! I— *passes out*

Bruhhhhh. This girl can write. All the little moments of wariness and subtle off-putting cues creating a sense of suspicion are so interesting. She really builds up the mystery and story unfolds so naturally. Also the beginning and middle are about to come together. I’m scared! Gosh, I love this series. And the characters??? The characters!!! AHICUOVIUCTUDST

I may be switching between a physical book and the Libby app, so numbering could get wonky. But OO! Picking this back up after 8 months and it is immediately eating just as it did before. Cannot believe Konstantin is telling Olga this story. Oo! OO!! Ughhhhhhhhh. Anyway, glad to be back in this riveting and cold world full of vibrant characters!

I read an excerpt when I finished book one, and today I bought the book! My local library didn’t have it, and that was simply not acceptable.
