A lot of interactions feel repetitive and the book could be shorter. The only thing that’s saved the past tense is that she brings up memories that we know and tibbets that connect to the “present.”

The repeating themes are amazing with the hand massage and similar back flashes. It’s all coming together so nicely.

I can’t stop listening to this book. A little too intense at moments but the shift in scenery is wild. Not the rest of the book seems like it’s all past tense. But I honestly didn’t guess this route she took.
