A lot of interactions feel repetitive and the book could be shorter. The only thing that’s saved the past tense is that she brings up memories that we know and tibbets that connect to the “present.”

The first 21 chapters could have been like 10 it was too repetitive. But it goes make me feel deeply for the characters.

I can’t stop listening to this book. A little too intense at moments but the shift in scenery is wild. Not the rest of the book seems like it’s all past tense. But I honestly didn’t guess this route she took.
