Shoplifting!

I was just complaining about there not being pauses or something to indicate a break between short stories in another book and here I am feeling annoyed with how long the pause is between chapters here. In my defense, there’s no need to know if I’m in one chapter or another when there’s a continuing plot.

I’m pretty sure that dead tree is going to fall on the house and crush all their hard work…

She had no friends? That’s a harsh thing to say about your mother who was living her own life in her own place and you rarely interacted with her despite living in the same town…

The gold probably was converted to confederate currency that’s worthless and it was pasted under the wallpaper.

Tanya’s voice is a bit annoying…

She’s doing accents, I can appreciate that, the author is a decent storyteller.

Eh, the author reading the book, that can be iffy, especially when it’s not a memoir or autobiography
