Notes from Underground, features a self-proclaimed anti-hero whose maelstrom of emotions makes for a reading filled with contradictions. The underground man is irrational and intelligent, prideful and cowardly, incisive but inactive and ultimately ... I am for now, confused at what this has to do with determinism and utopian thinking.
