i’m going to kill myself if this man mentions for the 10th time that a dragon killed his parents and almost him (“At least that was the assumption.” - direct line of thought from this man) until Balor the Butcher saved him. i swear they just copied and pasted the exact same lines he said like 20 pages ago WHEN HE ALREADY EXPLAINED HIS BACKSTORY. also not the baby in a basket trope. that’s seriously how she arrived to the queen of this country???

okay she clarifies on the next page that even she doesn’t know why their society turned on magic users and hunted them down aside from the stereotypical stories of witches doing bad things. but still, this is so. dumb.

not the magic being outlawed trope while our main character coincidentally would get called a witch because she has an unusual hair color. man, i wonder what’s going to happen here.

also it’s so boring to include this trope WITHOUT HAVING A GOOD REASON OF SOME KIND FOR IT BEING BANNED??? nope, it’s just bad!
