“Beef stroganoff.” Everybody groans and laughs.

“Oh yeah?” Matty shoots back. “Well, did you know my cock was in the Guinness Book of World Records?”

“Was it?” Cameron asks.

“Yeah. But the librarian told me to take it out.”

More groans.

Okay, so my earlier enthusiasm has been greatly tempered. 😒 Amateur and quite juvenile writing has me recalibrating my expectations. Not terrible ... but certainly not great either.

I do love a good haunted house story ...
