I'm loving this and am genuinely creeped out to the point I felt uncomfortable turning the light off when going to bed yesterday lol. The horror is very reminiscent of Hereditary, which is a film I love dearly. Really great so far, I wish I could read this all day today!

I just wanted to start this but got reminded that the novel is based on King Lear, so I'm now watching a 3-hour production of the Shakespeare play with Ian McKellen as King Lear before starting Private Rites lol
