last week I finished a story about mary anning and now I discover that apparently, jane austen's father met mary's father richard who sold fossils to tourists in lyme regis and that she probably set some chapters of persuasion there bc it became more famous after mary's discoveries

I finally found the halloween themed chocolate and a lot of new biscuits to try. my cupboard looks like the biscuit factory. I just hope the choc won't melt bc today it was warm (around 20°C) again. according to a survey, my city is nu. 2 for best weather in the country. perfect if u like sunny mostly all year and mild weather. not perfect for chocolate yet tho

kxtera meddins (maresh) yes!!! its highly likely that jane came across mary on the seafront!! she was 12 when she found her first ‘big’ discover (her ichthyosaurs), but she’d been collecting fossils for years before then :)

kxtera meddins (maresh) oooh well I highly recommend Impossible Monsters which I just read! and if you ever happen to find yourself in London, the natural history museum has a huge display of her original findings!!!
