book i read you! why is the epilogue telling me things that i read in the book? i know what happened i literally just read it 2 seconds ago!

why would he bring up how small her vagina is in comparison to a single finger? i am so disgusted by this sex scene that i had to stop for 15 minutes to rant out loud to myself. why did they make the choose to make her tiny as hell, 11 years younger, and have childhood sexual trauma? i’m very weirded out by this one. at least when august said his weird ass shit him and iris were the same age.

i don’t like the choice to villainize chase and have him do all these shitty things. it’s not his fault that lotus feels this way. he’s not responsible for her trauma. she’s getting triggered by a lot of things right now and it’s okay for her to not want chase but realize she wants kenan during this time.

she looks like a little girl? then they mention her breasts and ass. august literally said the same thing about iris in the first book and now kenan is saying it about lotus. it’s even worse in this one because lotus is literally smaller than kenan’s 14 year old daughter. i literally can’t even picture a 5’3 woman with a 6’7 man. it’s fucking absurd.

also i’m bored. nothing is happening. there’s not really any conflict. he’s already divorced and everything with his child is settled legally.

she is working on her very bad emotional trauma from childhood but that’s not really a story. it just makes me sad. the resolution better not be her forgiving her mother.
