Emma and Jake get married at the end of October and her dad’s bucket list walks her down the aisle. She doesn’t know how long he has left but she is cherishing each day and trusting God’s plan for tomorrow.

Emma calls to cancel all the orders for the wedding. She stops by Eloise’s bakery to cancel the wedding cake. When she leaves it’s down pouring rain. Jake calls out to her in the middle of the road. He says he is a liar. He left town back in the day b/c he couldn’t bear to watch her marry Chase. He gets down on one knee and proposes for real b/c he is in love with her and has been this whole time. She says yes

Emma tells Jake she is calling off the wedding. Jake is stunned but doesn’t say anything. Emma goes and tells her mom and dad the truth about the wedding and her dad’s bucket list. They understand. She also says her true feelings for Jake. But Jake didn’t fight for her like she wanted him to do. He let her go instead.

Emma finds out that the town thinks she is pregnant b/c some lady said that’s why her and Hake are getting married last minute. Emma storms over to Lily’s house mad from her behavior at the festival. Lily is worried about her b/c she needs to come to terms with her dad dying and a fake wedding won’t help. Emma admits to Lily that she is in love with Jake and everyone thinks she pregnant. Lily comforts her.

It’s the night of the fall harvest. Jake tells Emma they should go together. She usually goes with Lily but chooses to go with Jake. Emma can never tell if Jake likes her or if he does things to look like a real engaged couple. He holds her hand but only right before they get to the festival. But Emma gets Carmel on her mouth and Jake helps to get it and they almost kiss before Lily shows up and she is mad!

Jake and Emma have to practice their dancing before the wedding so they take a lesson with her parents. Lily and Liam tag along too. Liam is on board with Emma’s plan and thinks it will be good for their dad so he won’t say anything. Jake is a great dancer! Emma is giddy on the inside to be dancing with Jake. She is starting to fall for him for real and I think Jake has always liked her too.

Jake comes over to Emma’s parents house for a bon fire. Emma has a memory pop up from her graduation night when Jake came and sat next to her by the same fire pit. They had been flirting and she thought maybe he was coming to ask her out but rather he told her that Chase liked her. Chase and Jake were friends. She misread his that time and now she fears she is misreading her and his feelings this time.

Emma goes dress shopping while Jake goes golfing with Emma’s dad and brother, Liam. Emma finds the perfect dress she wanted when she was engaged the first time but wasn’t available but now here the perfect dress is. Jake comes to the store and pulls Emma away. Liam knows the truth! He was asking a bunch of questions while golfing that Jake had to tell him the truth.

Emma helps Lily with the fall festival since she agreed to help her plan the wedding. Emma has to pick up pumpkins for the event. She drives out to Sawyer Farm and of course Jake is there. Wayne and Sandy run the farm and invite Emma to have the wedding there. It would be a free event available that soon. Emma and Jake go pick out pumpkins and they talk about being more affectionate to not cause doubt. Emma is giddy

Liam gives Emma his grandmother’s ring to wear for their “engagement”. They go to her parent’s for dinner. When they showed up to dinner her brother was unexpectedly there. Her brother who has been best friends with Jake their entire lives. She tells everyone they are engaged. Her family is surprised but happy. She tells them they are getting married this month before her father passes.
