I hardly ever read horror, or just scary books in general. I used to when I was a teenager, engulfed in traumas and angst, so it’s interesting that I have been pulling towards stories like this again. Maybe they make me feel better about my daily life filled with a newfound fear and anxiety. Maybe they desensitize my nervous system. Either way, I loved the cover, loved the blurb and so far it’s quite enjoyable.
