Finished 24/10. Wow. This is a series that (appropriately) has given me a lot of doubts, but it won me over in the end. This ending reminded me of every reason I fell in love with fantasy and why I will always go back to it.

Entertained by the fact that the better parts of this series are the ones that don't feature the main character

See I keep thinking this is winning me over and then you have moments like this. They have to be unreasonably forgiving to put up with Covenant's impossible stubbornness.

It's like Donaldson made it a rule that no character could ever give a straight answer to a question. Direct communication would clear up so much misunderstanding here.
