I'm at chapter 8, so far no murder but I have a feeling I know who the victim will be. There is a lot going on, spooky lighthouse, ghost hunters, podcast, baking.

This is the first book I've read in the series but I know it's not the first of the series. The author does a good job of giving the reader know just enough informative on each of the characters are without going into full recap mode.
