I just binged this drama last weekend. ❤️Do you think the book is much better? I kinda want to read it because some things aren’t explained well in the drama, but also afraid I’ll get bored since I know the plot already. 🤭

The writing is nothing special and first part aka "omega" Hua Yong was a little boring to read since it's almost identical to the drama (apart from two amazing scenes that sadly didn't made it into drama). I started to enjoy it more now that enigma HY was revealed - I also liked that part in the drama more. I'm mostly interested in ending and extras, because I hope that the end is less rushed in the book. But honestly, if I didn't watched the series before, I'd probably DNFed it because I couldn't stand Hua Yong otherwise. Huang Xing really did an amazing job to make this charachter likeable 😊 I hope the extras will make this read worth it 😄
I heard indeed that HY is much darker in the book. Hm, I also didn’t like the abrupt ending in the drama, but I also don’t care much about the second couple or the mpreg part. So judging from what you said, I think I won’t bother with the book. Thanks! 💕
