Wait I’m really starting to fuck with this. As much of an avoidant as Mallory is, I love how Nolan is clearly so obsessed with her hehe.

My reading progress is going so slow grrr, I have less novels and more secondary stuff to read for college now and it’s shattering my goodreads challenge lol but I’m determined to pull through 🫡 This book is sort of slow to get into and the YA aspect doesn’t feel super natural for Hazelwood but I’m slowly getting into it. The romance hasn’t even started after all

I can definitely feel Hazelwood attempting to make this book more appealing for a younger audience and unfortunately it’s not feeling very natural or effective so far. I fear how much Mallory is going to miscommunicate with her mom, but let’s hope for some character development. Oh and yeah I’m crawling back to Miss HZ one last time before college starts, let’s hope I won’t regret it…
