So far I am really appreciating Kathy’s writing—it’s very descriptive and poetic. I appreciate the perfect mix between describing not only the decay of the body, but also the beauty in the world that Temperance is very aware of. It allows the reader to maintain interest and intrigue without just feeling grossed out and sad due to the more gory details of the story.
