Ps. This book keeps making me want to read other books. I really want to start Lord of the Flies now.

This book is a little disappointing for something that I was really looking forward to. But on the other hand, it’s making me want to read The Divine Comedy, so I have something else to look forward to after I finish this.

I’ll be honest. But these random misplaced remarks on feminism, inequality and female empowerment really cringe me out. It just really doesn’t suit the story. And I hate when authors do this.

I could be drawn into a story and taken right out of it when the inner dialogue is pushing feminism on me. It’s not the place nor time🤦🏻‍♀️
