Maybe my favourite representation of vampires in any media, far from seductive blood lust, instead a harrowing tale of neglected children.
Why is Eli not mentioned more often as one of the vampire greats?
(A difficult read exploring themes of neglect, CSA, gender, and the question of immortality/pedophiles but done so well, Anne Rice take notes LOL)
