Starting with the audio version almost put me off this book. The high-pitched child’s voice was grating at first. I pop back and forth between ebook and audio, otherwise I don’t think I could do it.
As for the story, I was instantly intrigued the “Other Mommy”character and I’m already invested in whether she is an imaginary friend, a hallucination, or something else entirely.
