- part 2 is good but it does wrap her life and her restart but I wish they just kept it at her time in the war
- It's not flat tho I just don't care for the random characters like Henry which is becoming her husband
- Just bc of part 2, now sounding like a regular story w/ unwanted marriage so she can fulfill her loneliness it makes the book a 4.7 rn
-This book is taking me long bc I was in a reading slump

- I feel so bad for women who are like Frankie trying to get back on track after having war PTSD and no one acknowledging even the departments that claimed a source of help for veterans
-Her girlfriends thoo, Wow the womanhood I can only imagine
- I loveee this book its makes me cry bc it's emotional and I love that

-Rye and her finally made love but i forget this isn't a romance novel so their love isn't centered but I just don't like hearing how much sex they have
- Not really an update but He did tell her he'll love her til he dies, wrong choice of words
-I feel like I'm always preparing for a heartbreak in all the people she meets this book is so sad but so real

- I keep not wanting to read, I think that's why its taking me so long but whenever I actually read I love the story plot soo much
- Not a crazy update but alot of deaths that keep making me cry it is so fast paced like you maybe expect it but when it happens its still so sad
- Idk ab the president LBJ but its giving he wasn't liked and it reminds me of US currently
-Frankie just renewed her draft(?) I have feeling

-I probably need to search up what fast-paced really means but to me rn this is pretty fast-paced, nothing in the story is flat which is really surprising bc the beginning of a book usually tries to get alot of details in which can be boring but its almost as if I'm walking her experience and all the grieve and trauma and shock she's experiencing
