It's nice to also reflect on the connection of man and beast whilst reading this. Of course, it's about hares, but there's also a special appreciation for the entirety of nature and all the creatures that dwell within.

Wow. How beautiful of a book! I enjoyed the last few chapters as whilst it still spoke about the hare and her leverets, it also transitioned to being an introspective regarding about the greater connection formed with nature and the realisation of how beautiful, no matter how minor, the World is with its different creatures and species, flora, and how it all intertwines.
It's a book perfect for those who love nature

Poor little Leveret, finding its freedom but never forgetting the centre of its home range. It's fascinating to know that hares have a 'home range' of 15-20 km.

An adorable book about the 'adoption' of a feral leveret, or baby hare. The visualisation by the author is terrific.
