The reverse Watson and Holmes are great.
I loke Rossane, but having the first thing she does be fainting and wobbling around on weak ankles while two of the men fawn at her is eh.

Okay, so yes, it's a Jack the Ripper story.
No, it's not really a murder mystery in the sense that we get to know who the murderer is in chapter 2. Interested where this goes. Bit of a barrage of character introductions though.
