Taking a little break from all books after the last book I read. Hoping I get back into books before this one has to go back. And hoping I get back into goodreads soon. The last book I read left me feeling so rotten I don’t want anything to do with books at the moment. This has NEVER happened to me. 😩. It’s very odd.

Goodness me there are some absolutely just wonderful and delightful secondary characters! Some babies you hold them for the first time and it’s like they seriously pierced your heart and there is absolutely no way you can not love that precious being. I don’t mean holding your own child for the first time. But someone else’s baby, and it’s an instant, kid, you need to be in my life, feeling.

Oofta…this Island is a gossipy bunch 😂. Holy bonkers. I realized why the covers of some of the books from this series look so familiar, I did a puzzle in the spring called Newport Mansions or something like that. I love sailing. In my dad’s 50+ year old little sunfish on a small lake. My dad does the work and I just sit and enjoy! Quite different than the sailing these rich folks do!!

Oh no my friend! That’s awful! I’m so sorry. Some books just sneak up and destroy our kind :( please take the time, rest up. Lots of wonderful reads ahead ❤️

Thank you Katherine, Supriya, and Mileena💕. I am feeling much better now in terms of the book. And have added the goodreads app back to my phone 😊. Thanks for reaching out and being supportive, I really appreciate your kindness. Hopefully my bizarre reaction to that book doesn’t happen with other books in the future. That was just odd.
