I was just about to say this guy has more internal conversations than I do, then he commented about talking out loud to himself. I seem to do that more when I am around other people🤷‍♀️🙄.

Something wonderful happened!!! Libby has added 2 more libraries I can borrow audiobooks from via Libby😊. I can’t place them on hold, but when they are available to borrow, I can borrow them! Up to ten at a time! I am so excited I am darn near in tears. A little overwhelmed too because it’s a lot of books to go through and I can’t seem to separate them by audiobook? Just wanted to share happiness for once!!

I wish I liked the Virgil Flowers books more. Just not quite as good as the Davenport books. Had to go back a little bit because I realized I was zoning out. 🤦🏼‍♀️.

Oh how I wish this was an unabridged version.

I remember seeing this movie within the last year. Titus Welliver played the bad guy. Hopefully the book is better than the movie was😂

Ignoring that they woke up in time for the 6 o’clock news and then shortly later he says a detective will be there later that day, hopefully before 5. It sounded like it was supposed to be the same day based on the phone call he made after watching the news. Stop overthinking!!! It was probably the next day. Just get over it.

I have laughed so much in this book. Goodness me I love when the comedy and humor hit just right in a thriller. Adds so much to the book for me.

I feel a bit bad for Atticus. Having to shower in a gym (while hoping that they don’t notice that his membership has expired) because the bathroom where he rents rooms doesn’t have a shower. And how he knows he messed up his police career but didn’t seem to care at the time and is paying for it now and trying to rebuild himself. Focus on the case, self, not the man investigating and his sad state of things.

Isn’t that technically impersonation? And you just gave away vital info w/o knowing who you are telling🤦🏼‍♀️.

I fear I am hitting a slump😢 via the path of fonl (fear of not liking) and therefore scared to start books not part of a series I am familiar with, hence all of the James Patterson and John Sanford books recently. I kind of knew what to expect with them. But now none are available to me at the moment….and panic and book anxiety has ensued. Silly I know, but it’s me. So……
