i'm on part 2. there are no chapter breaks anymore. i'm distraught. this is heartbreaking.

the foreshadowing quite literally pains me.

the writing in this is absolutely gorgeous. i love how we are zooming in and out of characters and seeing how they connect to the bigger picture, but I can't help but feel sad for Agnes despite the real tragedy that hasn't occurred yet :(
