Monday 102725 750 pm - 36 ORD Living Room on a Spice Chair w/Buzz on my lap (He just jumped up on me for snuggles) - I just finished reading the June chapter. Nice to be reading again & taking some time to relax this evening. Larry & I went for a nice walk around our neighborhood after work before sunset. Felt so good to get outside & appreciate nature together. Came back & enjoyed salad & leftover pizza for dinner.

Sunday 102625 - 36 ORD - I just read the June Chapter. I got outside & worked on some fall clean-up this afternoon. It was a nice fall day, just right for jeans, a long sleeve tech shirt, & my NU fleece vest. Pulled some invasive vines & bagged leaves & yard waste. It’s a start & felt good to be outside. Time to make a plan for dinner now. My belly is rumbling!

Sunday 102625 1:47 pm - 36 ORD Cozy Green Couch w/Buzz & Stitch still curled up in my lap. - I finished reading the May Chapter while Stitch kept napping on my lap. It’s a lazy cat Sunday. I wanted to make some time to read for fun this weekend & I’ve certainly done that. The cats nap most of the day while I’m working - they would lay with me all day if I chose to do this. Time to get up now for some activity.

Sunday 102625 1:05 pm - 36 ORD Cozy Green Couch w/Buzz & Stitch - Stitch came & curled up in my lap so I kept reading & finished the April Chapter. She is SO HARD on herself! Nice to be relaxing & reading again for a bit. We’ve been enjoying watching the massive number of penguins (>100) that are still hanging out here on Lake Decatur & the beautiful fall colors that are popping everywhere. Lake life is sweet.

Sunday 102625 12:33 pm - 36 ORD Cozy Green Couch w/Buzz - We are having a chill Sunday at home so far. Buzz is being so snuggly w/me in a nice way that I read another chapter finishing March. It is reasonable to consider finishing this book within a few days & getting back into reading regularly again. I have enjoyed being back to work in a job that uses all my skills where I am appreciated. Super to work from home.

Sunday 102625 - Cozy Green Couch w/Buzz - It’s been quite awhile since I read so it felt good to dive back into this. I’m going to try to speed read the rest of this by Friday so I don’t miss the October reading award. I’ve earned all the 2025 awards so far & was just working on my Reading Plan for the rest of 2025. It would be super cool to earn them all. I’ve been reading less since starting my new job.

Tues 091625 - Hampton Inn Streetsboro - Just finished reading January as part of waking up. I had an AWESOME first day w/RoviSys yesterday. My new leader Jeff is very nice & supportive & the other colleagues I met are all so collaborative. This is going to be a very interesting job for me in an exciting new direction that draws on all my intuition & foundation of skills & strengths. It will be challenging & fun.

Mon 091525 - Streetsboro, OH - Started this yesterday evening on my flight from Chicago to Cleveland, borrowing this from Alli. Almost finished Chapter 1 about January. It is really good & will be a fun read for my first week onboarding for my new job! A new chapter of my life is beginning too, how appropriate. It was interesting flying again, I think it has been almost 2 years since I was on a plane. Very excited!
