ok yeah this is still probably my favorite book of all time. even though this book is probably too long for its own good, it works perfectly for me for some reason. the prose GUTS ME. i want to write a book that feels this captivating to read and feels this well-developed. my heart was in my throat from how well King depicted Bill’s love for Audra in his section of the third chapter. absolutely riveting.

yeah this is pretty much as good as i remember. i forgot how much i love the prose. idgaf if it’s flowery and overly descriptive, it creates such a vivid picture in my head it’s unreal

I know I haven’t updated in a while but I’ve made some serious progress. I might finish this in the next few days.

I genuinely have to take a break for a moment. This is scaring me so badly, mainly due to Weber’s performance of certain scenes and certain lines, that I literally have to stop for a second. He just has this eerie way of manifesting pure terror that I have never experienced before. I will definitely be listening to more horror audiobooks soon because this has been a phenomenal experience so far.

I cant even describe how much I’m enjoying this audiobook. This is helping me push through the length of this so much faster while enjoying it even more than the first time I read it.

I decided to get an Audible trial and get this audiobook and lemme tell you, this is the single best audiobook I’ve EVER listened to. Steven Weber is a PHENOMENAL narrator. When scary scenes happen his voice crescendos, all the characters have distinct voices and pronunciations, and he just speaks so clearly. I am so happy I used my free audiobook for this.

I have a fuckton of reading to do tonight. Here’s to hoping I can get to page 534 with the audiobook while I do things.
