So he stood up for to ensure she would stay, that’s great. But then he kissed her, when he’s still in a relationship?! Like yea I get he was emotionally cheating anyway and that she was away and left a letter basically saying “do what you want cause I am going to do what I want”, buttttttt it felt so out of place for him and now I’m annoyed. He needs to talk to herrrrrrrr

I hate how there is another sh**esh***er now. Lysandra reigns supreme, I think he may be my favorite character now. I need Yrene to find out Aelin saved her life, it's going to be such a present!

Finally getting somewhere. Also not really enjoying the Chaol and Yrene emotionally cheating plot, unless I'm just reading into their reactions too much.

Idk this book kinda boring compared to Empire of Storms, but I think now that the Valg were introduced it will get better. The library chapter was intense.

Reading Assassins blade after Heir of fire was a good decision for me, cause I would’ve never remembered Yrene if I read it first or even after crown of midnight 😫
