I got to know the break up story, and honestly I understand Wes. I mean, it was a hard time for him, and Liz remembered him everything, what he lost, for example his dream at UCLA. He cannot be sure that he could go back ever at the uni. And he just wanted to move on and he didn't wanted get hurt again, he wanted to protect himself to an another pain.

But it's just my opinion, and I understand Liz too.

I feel the power of Liz, she is more confident then ever, she is good at what she is doing and she knows it, she's kind, and so nice, but also speak back. I love her style ( the new, but i liked the high school Lizzie's style also).
And I love when Liz and Wes are together, there are always a lot of funny moment, drama, teasing.

Ohhh, what is that? Fake dating between Liz and Clark? I feel sooner a lot of drama will happen

Honestly I like Clark too. I know that he is just a friend, but if I were Liz I would go to a date with him...
This isn't mean I like Wes less, but he doesn't even met Liz at the campus yet. Maybe at the party..I hope...

Btw I love the book's vibe, it is such a comfort book for me.
