i greatly appreciate alix e. harrow’s decision to write owen’s narrative as though he is addressing no one other than una. there’s an added intimacy to their story in doing so, with the consistent use of “you” & “your” when referring to her.

moreover, it very much reflects owen’s own thoughts in chapter 3: “i came to believe that whoever had written them had truly known you. […]”
