Love the surprise of the last chapter. A brief 5 star review tomorrow!

This has to be the only novel where those who construct spy operations plan and a surprise wedding and yes it's for Gabriel and Chiara. Spy stories can also have happy endings!

Brilliant as expected. If there's a downside it's due to the kidnapping plot which we've seen in other books though this one differs from the others.. Another 5 star rating for the master of spy stories!

Shamron tells Allon he's like a son while Gabriel tells him he's not interested in being the Director.. These are the sort of conflicts that Silva excels with.. Clearly one of the best in series as the momentum snowballs toward the finish!

Terrific and as expected plot twists galore though Allon is the Superman of spies and he's bulletproof!

Classic cat and mouse game and I'm expecting plot twists galore

Every time I read another of these earlier ones I feel as if they can't be topped. But it's clear my hypothesis is flawed! Great characters, battle of the wits and ass kicking suspense as the icing

Top notch! This would make an outstanding movie. The kidnapping of the president's god daughter by the Sword of Allah terrorists led by the notorious man known as Sphinx! In order to get to him Allon and his group kidnap the one person who can lead them to the terrorist. As with all his operations it's meticulously timed!

And it wouldn't be an Allon orchestra without all the usual suspects. Silva has done it again and am sure plot twists and surprises are what's in store!

I was wondering when Silva would bring Sarah Bancroft back again having enjoyed her in other installments. Allon is once again the maestro of a rescue operation that only he is capable of delivering. As the saying goes, the plot thickens!
