Author can't decide if Alex is three and twenty or twenty-two either way the character seems like he should be at least 5 yrs older than that. And 11yrs out of society makes it seem Gillian should be older too but I think she must have been a child 11yrs prior when in reality she wouldn't have been out in society then...
