Lydgate’s pissing me off. Just cause his first girlfriend was a murderer he thinks every woman is vicious and evil. I don’t like his and Rosamond’s dynamic on either side at all, it’s like the Victorian equivalent of a toxic relationship except in the modern day they’d just break up not get freaking married

All the town politics and clerical stuff is going right over my head, I’m only paying attention when Fred and Mary are in a scene together or Dodo and Will. Mary’s obviously the best character so actually just anything she’s in is great. I can not stand any of the men ugh 🤢 Maybe Will but even he’s pissing me off cause he only likes Dodo because she’s unavailable, that’s so cringe

“She might have waited till I did ask her.”

I can already tell I’m going to love Fred and Mary’s plot line
