This book now reminds me of Helen MacInnes cold war spy books.

I do love Zahn's attempt to Agatha Christie his way through the sci-fi genre.

I love how Zahn interweaves regular Earth culture into his sci-fi. Eating onion rings while hurtling at the speed of light through the galaxy just creates a neat image for me.

Look at Zahn giving the people what they want, even though said people didn't know they needed giant space train.

I love Zahn's sci-fi mystery style. So different from his Star Wars work.
