Wow that last chapter was so intense!!! I’m glad I stayed so far, although nothing excuses the rest of my complaints.

This book not having a full synopsis on Wikipedia and people saying it has a mind blowing ending are the only things keeping me going at this point. I really enjoyed the writing at first but it’s getting real long in the tooth (and racist, fatphobic, misogynist…Scott really is a piece of shit)

The constant mentions of women’s weight and old timey racism is getting very old. You’re calling an elderly Chinese lady “Chairman Mao” for a whole chapter and never even telling the audience her real name? Seriously fuck off.
