Wasn't sure about the setting from the get-go, but a fantasy version of the American wild west frontier by an English author has been fun. As always with Abercrombie, the characters are what shine. Temple has grown on me, and ofc Lamb is the GOAT (I respect that Abercrombie refuses to use the name we all know him by). These standalones are phenomenal and still progress the worldbuilding for this series wonderfully.
