I don’t remember any of Sparks’ previous books having this much unnecessary details. I’m soo not emotionally invested in any characters, and the depiction of hunting is so false. (Jaguars aren’t even legal to hunt, let alone have one mounted in your home) and Josh’s predictability as the antagonist and propelling factor to everyone’s story intertwining with tragedy is almost appalling. In a bad way.

Boo. I’m already predicting Casey is going to get kidnapped or hurt by Josh in some way, an Tanner will have to be her savior after he and her mom Kaitlyn have a break up or falling out; and this rescue will result in him being injured (or the Jasper guy) and repair his (tanner) relationship with Kaitlyn. Also the descriptions of the characters is so wattpad coded.
